How many (tons) of "Spent" fuel rods are kept in #4 Reactor?

Right... #3 has MOX in the reactor. #4 reactor is offline, was before the tsunami, but its spent-fuel pool is running out of water and heating up.

Its probably the best cleanest way of getting power we ever thought of, free power from water and gravity.

Spent fuel rods are not in a reactor they are in a cooling pool but it only takes 12 months and then they can be removed to dry cask storage.
But they even have modules these days to store spent fuel straight away out of the reactor which keeps them cool and you can basically stack them in a warehouse 100 miles away.

I mean... lets say it was all faked, and it's about to be "fixed."

Can't they come up with a better cover story? Simply say that they managed to cool the reactors down enough with the jetcannons, the containment vessels were not breached, and they will slowly be cooling the reactors for the next few weeks?

But telling everyone that they are plugging them in... it sounds completely insane! And I don't understand how a whole bunch of scientists and engineers aren't already flooding the net with calls of BS! Something is horribly wrong here. Some guy on CNN was talking about how relieved he was. An actual verified "scientist."

Something is really really really wrong. Now I doubt EVERYTHING!

2220: Japan turned down an earlier US offer to provide technical support for cooling fuel rods at nuclear reactors hit by a massive earthquake and tsunami, a Japanese newspaper reported on Friday, reports AFP.

2226: The Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper, quoting a senior official of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan, said the US made the offer immediately after the disaster damaged Fukushima No 1 nuclear plant. According to the unnamed senior official, US support was based on dismantling the troubled reactors run by Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) some 250 km (155 miles) northeast of Tokyo. However, the government and TEPCO thought the cooling system could be restored by themselves. The report has not been independently verified.

The company laid a new power line to the plant on Thursday, but has yet to connect it to the No.2 reactor due to efforts to douse it with water. The utility plans to link the cable to the reactor on Friday.

The firm says the reactor seems to have suffered less damage to its electrical equipment than the other reactors at the plant.
However, the company says connecting the cables could be hampered by the radiation threat to workers who will have to approach the reactor.

To demonize and ban nuclear power.
Because countries with large nuclear power components under the NWO proposed world government carbon tax would pay very little.

And now it's Friday or Saturday. And they're claiming No. 2 takes priority over other the troubled reactors because it cannot be doused since the roof of its building is still intact. Like any of the droplets of water that may have miraculously reached any reactor matters anyway.

Yes but if this even was real, these spent rods can easily be removed and places into appropriate storage modules if need be.
This is not the issue they are not hot reacting fuel.
