As for language barrier, it is difficult at times, but I muddle through somehow. In any event I am personally trying to do my part to lower it or eradicate it, but it's gonna take some time. I thought about taking a job outside Germany as soon as the opportunity is there but of course learning the new language is essential. Back in the 80's my Father & his 2nd wife Margi had been together for years. Margi fell in luv w/ a worker on the ranch & my Father could see this. At the end of the year this worker came for his pay due, 12,000. My Father offered him 2,000 & Margi. He accepted. *note, Margi was like 50yrs old. So, my Father took the 10,000 he had from that deal & spent it on a wife from Germany. Her name was Karen. Although not shaven armpits made me chuck almost everytime she had a tank top on, she worked out real well. She did exactly what one would think from a wife & never complained. In 1996, in FT Davis mountains TX, They both got involved in the Republic of Texas standoff. They both still sit in jail today. The difference is this... She was never legally married & was offered a trip home to Germany never to return to the US. She declined & still rots in her cell.
