I have watched a few old movies from the '70's and 80s lately and it seems very odd to see people smoking inside places where it is now outlawed.

The insane anti-smoking nazis will never be happy. The local hospital no longer allows smoking anywhere on the huge campus. When I drive by, there are usually nurses, workers, etc. out on the sidewalk smoking. They have to walk a couple hundred yards away from the building, stand there with no shelter next to the busy street.

Here's an interesting article. According to this researcher, smoking cigarettes can help protect a person from getting cancer after exposed to radioactive fallout.

The article is long, but here is one snip from it:

" ... All mice and rats are used one-time-only in a specific experiment, and then destroyed. In this way researchers ensure that the results of whatever substance they are testing cannot be accidentally “contaminated” by the real or imagined effects of another substance. Then one day as if by magic, a few thousand mice from the smoking experiment “accidentally” found their way into the radioactive particle experiment, which in the past had killed every single one of its unfortunate test subjects. But this time, completely against the odds, sixty percent of the smoking mice survived exposure to the radioactive particles. The only variable was their prior exposure to copious quantities of tobacco smoke. ... "

The main reason they want to outlaw smoking is so they can sell high CC sportbikes to alpha males who will inevitably crash and turn themselves into squids so they can legally harvest strong healthy clean organs with which to patchwork and graft into their own deformed, missing-chromosome bodies.

Smoking don't cause cancer . the chemicals they use in production cause cancer.COPD is normally what will kill you with smoking after you get older. If you have a immune disorder of cellular problem , then you can get cancer from smoking. Its not the smoke causing it.Fresh tobacco is very healthy. The chemicals in mass production aren't healthy.chemicals in the paper chemicals .

Question : does sitting around a camp fire cause cancer?

Think about it.

As ever, I direct people to [link to www.joejackson.com] for an eye-opening read.

From there I found out how corrupt and unscientific the chosen piece of research on Environmental Tobacco Smoke was (there were 2 other, ignored, studies that found no measurable risk). To quote one of the researchers, "Yeah, it was pretty terrible science, but at least it stops people smoking!".

It's BS, people. "Smoking kills", they say... hey. look at all those non-smokers that have lived forever. Righto.

I've smoked for nearly 40 years.
My mama has smoked for nearly 60 years.
Her mama smoked for 70+ years - KOOLS, no less!
HER mama (my great-grandmother) didn't smoke but 'dipped' powdered snuff ~as long as the menfolk weren't around to see her spit, cos that'd be unladylike~ for 70+ years.

They all lived to a ripe old age. My mama is still going strong. She's a little overweight these days but I think it's good for her bones..that extra 10-12 lbs makes them stronger. She's lookin' good - no wrinkles, just a little sagging on the throat & eyelids. Still a beauty.

I seem to be in good health, still have an athletic figure and a ton of energy.
Some of the 'kids' I work with (younger than all of my own children) are always shocked when they find out how old I am.

I tell them I drink too much & smoke too much, but drink a lot of clean water and eat good healthy meals twice a day. No junk food.
That's the secret.

That, and good genes.

Tobacco smoke can help expectorate particles like DU(depleted uranium)

However, radiation is also drawn to tobacco leaves as though they are like a magnet...

Smoking organic tobacco is far better as the tobacco companies "load" their cigarettes with addictive agents

Likewise, one must think in terms of the lesser of two evils

I would not pick up the habit-but if one is exposed to DU a cigarette now and then is helpful

I think Kaneh Bos(m) is much safer overall-it has protective elements, and helps protect the myelin sheath and also has been shown to be protective for the lungs-although naturally smoke in the lungs is not ideal-ingesting Kaneh Bos(m) likely has the same protective effects.

Only 8% or so of smokers die from lung cancer - and most of them don't die until their mid-70s.

Smoking may not be good for you - but the whole cancer thing is vastly overblown.

Also, I don't believe smoking slows down the healing process. I've had a couple of surgeries (33 year smoker), and I've always healed well ahead of the norm.

So many BS disinfo studies of smoking...so much lifespan to have to endure them over and over again.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1304740

I agree. I had a tummy tuck a few years back and my doc was worried because I smoked (same thing if you smoke and take BC pills...bad risk they say) Anyways...doc said my scar wouldn't heal as good as if I was a NS. I didn't quit and kept smoking before and after surgery...and my tummy tuck scar??? Looks great. Healed in no time and no different than any other "normal" looking scar.

Also-I always thought it was suspicious that all these "non-smokers" died of lung cancer, I mean WTF? Right?.

However,I do believe there are negative effects of smoking (as with anything..alcohol, eating high cholesterol foods, tanning) Where, too much can be a bad thing....but the banning of smoking in your car, or while outside (such as CA law recently imposed making it illegal to smoke anywhere other than in your single family home) is NAZI. I recently applied for a job and found that they do a Nicotine test and if you test positive you will NOT be hired.

But wait a minute...Isn't that ILLEGAL? Correct me if I'm wrong but it is still LEGAL to buy cigarettes right? They aren't considered an ILLEGAL DRUG are they? So how in the HELL DOES A company have the right to discriminate me for something I personally choose to do..that is currently LEGAL in THE U.S.????

Especially if A. I decide not to take their insurance or sign a waiver that smoking related diseases will not be included in medical care and B. If I don't do it on their property.
