 User ID: 1306051  Belgium03/20/2011 03:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i was wondering is there an overview map on the usgs website? i mostly use this [link to quakes.globalincidentmap.com] it uses usgs data, but i like the overview gives you the opportunity to place things i hope nothing happens but all this activity is unusual, no? i remember when the quake in japan just happened plenty of people screaming "the earth rings like a bell after a japan eq" but this time it doesnt stop ringing anywhere? has anyone kept track of all the eq's in the tsunami area since the tsunami? fojeez |

Subduction Zone Meqaquakes have now proven to us that they regularly produce MAG 9.0 with VIOLENT shaking for 4-5 minutes. Even new high rises may not withstand these unique types of seismic waves. Like I said I got a camera. Hang ON! Four to five minutes of violent shaking? That 4 to 5 minutes would seem like an hour if one were in it! btw, where are you in that high-rise? First floor? Top floor (which would be safest)? Somewhere in between? . I have added it into my Favorites. And yes ... there have been hundreds of tremors in the tsunami area in the past week. Over 50 that are 6+.  .
