The Garden - "Tips and Tricks"

Please list what you are growing right now and some helpful hints on indoor and outdoor gardening.
Ive been gardening since i was a kid.
Currently i have just started around 200 plants outdoor in my backyard. A mix of peppers and tomatos and cucumbers and zuchinnis along with a mix of squash.
My garden is an old style rowed up dirt thats been composted for last twenty years. Very rich soil but still takes some work to get it right.
trick: use oak leaves for mulch, pin oak if possible...
tips: use fertlizer in your mulch pile, place some in center. Sun will cause super heating and cut your mulching time.
