!! Earthquake D00M, April 6-7th the Earth, Sun, Jupiter & Saturn WILL Align!!

For you Comet Lovers, just when Jupiter, Earth, Sun, and Saturn align late on Apr 6th, 2011.....The Comet Metcalf-Brewington (97P) will fly in between Jupiter and the Sun at 3.9 AU from Earth, joining the alignment. See,

Actually, this one is even better for alignment and distance to Earth at 2.7 AU. Not so much for magnitude, it's about the same as Elenin at 12.1. 97P/Metcalf-Brewington is better than both with a M1 magnitude of 4.

That's when the best alignment occurs. I'd say straddle it by 1 week ahead and 1 week behind. Say, April 1st through April 14th. When was the last time the THREE LARGEST BODIES in the Solar System aligned with Earth? It WILL NOT happen on 12-21-2012, not much lines up then, solar system wise.

So it doesn't feel left out, I'll mention that Mercury will be aligned with the rest of the group.

Because it seems to happen when planets are in alignment.

If you park yourself on Jupiter and center on the Sun, you will see the Sun, Saturn, Earth & Mercury already in a tight group. The group will get tighter until Apr 6th when the Earth & Mercury align the best. Also, in the general line of sight on the 6th, you will see 7 Comets, and Venus-Mars close together and only 7 degrees altitude and 4 degrees azimuth from the other group.

The information in the OP video is very misleading. That is the kind of planetary alignment commentary you get when using massive spheres to represent your orbiting planets. Then the guy in the video does not distinguish between 'gravity trough' alignments on the same side of the Sun and 'far side' alignments where Jupiter is on the far side of the Sun enhancing another alignment.

Open up the JPL program and look at the position of Sun, Earth and Saturn. That alignment is taking place today or perhaps tomorrow. This is a 'gravity trough' alignment where Earth is passing through the trough that connects the Sun and Saturn together. [link to science.nasa.gov] Earth had a similar experience on March 11, 2011 by passing between the Sun and the ELEnin object that shifted earth axis and aquifers to give us the 9.0 Japan Quake. This guy in the video says Jupiter is in alignment, but that is not so according to JPL. Back up the program and see for yourself. Jupiter is close, but no cigar. February 27, 2011 was another 'gravity tough' alignment, when Earth passed directly between ELEnin and the Sun for aquifers to shift and Earth axis to shift with the 8.8 Chile Quake. Again, Jupiter is on the far side of the Sun and just out of alignment that would only 'enhance' the Sun/Earth/ELEnin gravity trough alignment.

If you forward the JPL date to April 6, 2011, then you will see the Jupiter far side alignment that can cause seismic events on Earth, but the Saturn alignment today seems more important IMHO. We shall see.
