lol but to add my .02 to this thread, why not just get parents to pick their kids up from school around lunch time for a "dentist" "doctor" etc. appointment and take them to lunch.

Or maybe the schools will be adding some type of new drug to the food as a mass experiment . That sounds more logical to me if they wanted to control the kids food intake then they could have made a list of do's and dont's for the parents.

The more money the school receives from the 'public' in the form of Federal Free Lunch Program, the more money goes into the pockets of the "private" non-profits.

It's very simple actually, its called corruption. Chicago is known for this kind of mob action.

The people better wake the hell up, this is just one more step to corporate communism. They are making us pay for the indoctrination of our children under the guise of 'education'.

The Christians will fall for the "school voucher" scheme as well, because by design, the education of American children is really all about money, not learning.

What I find stupid is the fact that on school's 'approved snacks' lists, there's noteworthy area such as if a yogurt has to be low fat and can't have so and so calories, and the same for other foods. Whole wheat buns. Things that seem like they come from the Organic section of the grocery store. Don't they realize that kids in elementary school are still in the "vegies are disgusting" phase? and the "meat" and all that, looks like it comes from month-old chef boyardee cans. Did you see the photo of the enchilada that some kid was covering his face over? That's what kids are eating at schools. A step up from prison food.

it's also about money. As you've probably read, students on Free and Reduced-lunch programs, for every one of those meals in which kids are given, a certain Chartwells-Thompson gets some pocket change. The government pays the district for each of those lunches, as well as some going to the supplier of the food.

You realize that the community is already impoverished as it is. Schools are stealing money from the parents. Some who can't AFFORD to give their kids lunch money.

What sick human beings tell kids they either have to eat healthy or go hungry? What kind of crap is that? They want their students to starve or experience dehydration for not wanting to drink runny chocolate milk and instead bring a capri sun with their own lunch. Schools are in for a rude awakening.

My guess is there is probably something hidden in the food that they kids to eat. I suspect probably high levels of vitamins and minerals which have been known to improve health in kids. I don't know but this smells like a huge conspiracy that needs to be looked at.

I wonder if there're any parents out there who would take a box of donuts into a classroom for the class, just to see their reaction. That would be priceless. I mean come on, classroom parties which usually used to have soda, candy apples, cookies, brownies. Nowadays, the parties don't even consist of apples. They're what, 1 cup of orange juice.

We go from having parents bringing pizza's to a classroom for a pizza party, and now they're trying to turn everybody into freakin' Jared from Subway or Richard freakin Simmons

Obviously, most of the parents are ok with this otherwise standup together and say no. There is absolutely no way the school could pass this IF parents just stood together and said no. And once you've said no and won on that subject then you'll find it's quite fun to say no on a wide range of other subjects too.

If you knew some schools, they'll take that as being an unfit parent to be honest. They'll say "oh you permit your kid to go against our school piece of paper policy so you obviously have no control over them" etc etc etc.

pretty soon I bet school's are gonna make a rule that a parent can't consent to their kids going on field trips or science camp or outdoor school. I'm also thinking that recess is going soon, as well as after school activies, heck they might as well take lunch time oustide play out of the day as well.
I mean, when I volunteered at my brother's school, if you didn't have your hand on your heart saying the pledge of allegiance you got sent to the hall and they tell your parents.
Even when I picked up one of my brothers from his class, the teacher stopped me and was like can you tell your mom that your brother doesn't sit in his seat in class, he talks to other kids and he always wants water. And I'm like he's a kid lady they aren't gonna just sit down and shut up just cause u said so. I told her that to her face and she just looked at the floor the rest of the time.

In all honestly, I see where your going on this, and that is the fundemental mistake being made on just about ALL matters. You're thinking singular, me, myself and I. The I will never get what it wants against the WE. So, get all the I's together and become a WE. WE against WE is a recipe for change...
