I'm totally secure with my God, I just don't understand this whole Christian mindset where God is this all knowing, all powerful being.

It's not that it's insecure, it's just that the priestly factions turned it into a message about a super-being who lords it over people, instead of what the message really was

what if you had a child and he/she refused to accept you as his/her father?

what if they started praising and calling another man their father?

what if they sacrificed your grand kids to this false father and was allowed to do whatever they wanted to do with no rules or morals?

what if the child and the new father conspired to kill you, take your possessions and move into your house?

would you allow that?

would you feel insecure if your children didnt love you or even acknowledge you?

Would'nt like it, but also would'nt cut them off completely and would'nt wish them any harm.
