There were many anti-nuclear protests in the United States which captured national public attention during the 1970s and 1980s. These included the well-known Clamshell Alliance protests at Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant and the Abalone Alliance protests at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, where thousands of protesters were arrested. Other large protests followed the 1979 Three Mile Island accident.[1]

I was there, I protested - when I was young.

Today you all have a perfectly good reason to be scared shitless and to be out there raging against those nuclear power-plants in your back yard.

So where are you 20 and 30 somethings?

I hear plenty of bitching and complaining about us Baby Boomers having 'made a bad world' Yet when push comes to shove you kids just sit there picking your noses.

Impress me and EARN the right to call the baby boomers losers.

Get your asses up and out and protest, rally, riot if you need be. Get those damned plants closed before they break down and kill you and your kids.

Don't expect 65+ year olds to do all the work. This is your time your challenge. Rise to the occasion.

No. Why rock the boat?

I have 5000+ oz of silver i bought for 2.00-2.75gbp per ounce lol.

I'm doing fine. No protests needed.

Not really they'll take it, and make ownership illegal. Just like the weapons. At best they'll promise to hold it for you until they think yo need it, but in the meanwhile they'll "invest" it for you, for the good of others less fortunate

Re: Why aren't you protesting?
while we protect our "community" of the united with our guns and machetes...the tptb will simply bomb us with their fighter jets...you see..we are fucked, and its all because of OP and other people who didnt rise up when the bastards began working to destroy us

hey OP we dont protest because we are smarter than that...we know from the past that protesters simply get beaten and sprayed with water cannons. All we can do is make ourselves more knowledgeable by being on forums like these deciphering reality. S

so your reason to not for a community is that you are afraid to be bombed by your government?

or is it because you blame the older generations for not standing up sooner?

sounds to me like you are trying to wiggle your way out of what you know needs to be done by your current generation with invalid arguments

the day governments starts bombing passive independent communities is the day the government rule ends

my generation atteneded public schooling which bored them and made them completly oblivious to their own surrounding and then on to of it we drink florine in our water and toothpaste so no your wrong we ddin't choose to do nothing we were raised to do nothing,.... ill stand up easily when shit hits the fan i have guns food and shelter deep in the scary woods sorry friends and family its your fault you refused to listen

now is the time to push the nuketards to breaking point.

they have been manning the lifeboats since fukushima.

they are preparing to invest elsewhere, but they will hang on

until pushed to make a few more dollars.
