I have had the Lead professors from UCB on my program doing the testing and sampling that all of these agencies are reporting on. Each one of them keep getting it wrong and over stating the results. And we keep getting the people putting radiation results for the public to see to come on and explain it all over again.

This is getting insane. They keep saying the EXACT same thing. The levels are well below, and you would be exposed to more Radiation Flying in an aircraft for Vacation.
A bannanna has more Radiation then what is being found on the soil, rainwater, tapwater, ect. And yes, I can link the audio to the thread if you like.
These blogs keep getting it wrong and hyping up the "Fallout."

Nothing agasnt anyone here, just saying your being shoved into the "Live in Fear buy our protect you product" box.

It seems that all info sources have an agenda. One side says it's no worse than sunshine. The other side says we will all suffer and die. No one knows the final outcome for certain, but since there is a little radiation in the water,.... and a little in the air, and a little in the milk and a little everywhere, a little makes a lot in short order when you are accumulating it from all of those sources and more. This is especially important since we are top level consumers which eat other organisms which accumulate these isotopes making our exposure much higher than other species lower on the food chain.
Of course, we can limit our exposure by avoiding dairy, meat and other concentrated sources. The other species we share the planet with don't have that option. Whales and other filter feeding grazers which eat krill, plankton, etc. are going to accumulate astronomical levels of isotopes so dumping in the ocean can't be good for them. Between the BP and Fukushima vast portions of the oceans, air and an ever increasing amount of land are contaminated.

I watched the entire video and it was very informative indeed. Apparently the whole purpose of a nuclear power plant is to BOIL WATER ... something that any kettle on a stove can do ... and for this millions of innocent people in Japan and probably around the world will die. That is very sad, that so many will die horrible deaths from cancer just because people wanted to boil water to make steam!

Even more alarming is the fact that nuclear power makes metal brittle. The plants built in the US were only supposed to run for 40 years due to this fact. But now they want to make it 60 or even 80 years! But that it not SAFE! The man in the video compared it to a car. Who would drive a 60 or 80 year old car? Ok, maybe a few people have antique cars for parades or car shows, but who drives them on a regular basis as their daily transportation, going on the highways, etc? Where would you get parts?

Thanks for the video Em. I watched it in full. And I am sorry to say that he is not reading the data. I have worked in media for a very long time and know exactly why they are doing this piece. Time and time again, people are ignoring or mis-stating what UCB is saying about the radiation levels. This is why I keep having the people from UCB that are doing the tests on the show. So they can again explain that the level of risk to public health is so small that its almsot absurd that others are taking their data, and using it to cause such panic. And the thing that really gets me is that everyone is buying into this hype and distracting from the real issue!
I sent out another invite to Dr. Kia Vetter. He is the one in charge of the ALL the readings and testing of samples in CA. He was on the program last time clearing up what a Journalist hacked up and reported on the data that even CNN started to run with and didnt check the facts or check with UCB.
Just please understand. You are not going to be contaminated with fallout radiation that is going to harm you. The lifespan of the actual Radiation only lasts 14 days. Then its gone. The real problem, and the real issue that is way bigger then small samples being detected in a sample of dirt in CA is the state of Japan it self. The people there, the effect the disaster is having on the world at large on the economic scale and the people that are dieing from the real High levels of Radiation. As Arnie Gunderson from Fairewinds.com stated on my program. The real danger is if the winds change and they start blowing over China then we are talking problems. Not only for China and the surrounding area, but for the globe.
So please, please when you see a blog, or video, or news report stating that THE LEVELS ARE OFF THE CHART Please check, double check and triple check from the source of the information. The actual people whos results and work is being twisted, and mis-stated.

The half-life of radioactive cesium 134 is around 2 years, that of cesium 137 is around 30 years, and that of plutonium is around 24,000 years, so I don’t understand the following statement that you made:“The lifespan of the actual Radiation only lasts 14 days. Then its gone.”

Also I don’t understand why it will be a catastrophe if the winds switch and blow the radioactive fall-out to China, but it is not an equal catastrophe if blown to the US.

BTW, I always triple check my sources, and the problem is the accumulation, not the daily levels, and the ongoing release of radioactive isotopes. (The accumulation in the soil, among other things.)

Just got off the phone with Yasmena Vulic. Professor at UC Berkley Nuclear engineering. I wanted to get an exact update of things to make sure I my self do not mis-quote or mis-state the data.

She told me a very interesting story after saying "Why is our data so hard to understand by these media sources?"

A group of students from UCB had a chance to go to Japan. After some time of trying to decide if they should go or if they should not go. They decided to take the trip to Japan and do some readings as well as do some research on Earthquakes ect.
They took along with them instruments to do some readings of the air in Japan. Before they left last week they took some air samples in CA and it was reading 0.1 mSv. Then when they reached Japan (Tokyo) They did another air sample and found that the reading was 0.1 mSv. Same as CA. When they got 40 miles outside of Fukushima and did another reading the level jumped to 0.2 mSV. Dr Vulic asked the students to do a reading while on the plane, traveling to Japan.
Now get ready for this...
The reading, while in the air, on the plane. WAS.... 2.7mSV.

Just pointing this out because as even Dr Vulic said. The people that are saying that everything is contaminated and getting the public to buy it are profiting off of it. And that is true. Not only that, they are making the economic situation worse for the very place they live in.. CA. When other states that sell food start seeing the sales and $ signs going up because people are afraid to eat anything in CA. They want to keep that gravy train running.
And the problem is, people are helping with this by not being informed with the facts.

I really hope this helps. I am a call foul when I hear BS from the Govt and when I see a coverup of information from the powers that be, I am for sure on it like a Pitbull until the truth is exposed. But in this case, no matter what way I attack it. I keep coming up with the same answer. The lie that is Dangerous Radiation in the states from Japan; is just to wide spread.

I understand that, but there is a difference from solar radiation that one is exposed to for a couple of hours, versus radioactive isotopes that one ingests, and that are incorporated into body tissues remaining radioactive for YEARS.

Why does everyone keep saying, we gotta do something about this? Nothing can be done to stop what is already happening. And being informed does nothing to change the situation. It's already in the air and food etc so it's already in our bodies, we cannot stop it from happening. I don't see how posting thread after thread of stats from the internet is helping anyone. Most people don't even understand how to read the maps they post or help us understand the data they are posting.

That is exactly what I have been doing my best to do by having the actual people that are doing the readings, and putting out the reports that everyone keeps exaggerating on air live to explain in detail what is being found, if there is a danger to people, and what it all means. Because the media and these bloggers and sad to say even programs are not getting it right. Only way to weed through the BS is to know what the facts are.

When we are seeing 10x cpm on radnet air monitors I'd have to say the risk is no longer negligible. Your statements seem to contradict the obvious. Rainfall will only increase the levels, so although we are at 10x in SoCal, many areas where it has been raining are getting much more than this. If you follow the paths by the plume predictions and cpm readings it is easy to track the contamination as it travels across the US. Many places through the middle and on the East are getting more radiation to ground and water. This can't have positive effects although the extent of the negative effects will not be known for years and will, for the most part, inevitably be attributed to other sources.
Some may be exaggerating the potential effects, but the MSM are downplaying everything in most cases.
