Quoting: APThe World Health Organization said Thursday that France had 4,937 reported cases of measles between January and March - compared with 5,090 cases during all of 2010. In all, more than 6,500 cases have been reported in 33 European nations. "This is a lot of cases, to put it mildly. In past years we've had very few cases," said Rebecca Martin, head of WHO's office in Copenhagen for vaccine-preventable diseases and immunization. "There's been a buildup of children who have not been immunized over the years," she said. "It's almost like a threshold. When you have enough people who have not been immunized, then outbreaks can occur." [link to seattletimes.nwsource.com] All you anti-vaccination people now get your wish. Make sure you tell your kids you wanted this for them, but please wait until their 4-day fever has subsided, so they will remember. Clueless idiot. Measles as well as Chicken Pox are harmless childhood diseases. We all looked forward to the days off from school when we would catch them. In fact, families would hold "Chicken Pox and Measles Parties" so the kids would catch them. Why? Because once the illness is over, a child builds up a lifetime immunity to the disease When you vaccinate your kid and prevent them from catching the disease as a child, you expose them to the risk of catching adult onset Measles or Chicken Pox, both of which can be deadly. The vaccine is not lifelong and an adult can catch the diseases at any given time. |

When you grow up, you will learn that arguing with adults requires facts and words. Good luck in high school next year. Oh, I got more, come try and stick me with a needle bitch! Nothing to argue here just a lil' diarrhea mouth spouting some agenda bullshit. |

I had the measles and every one i know (in spite of vaccs) we are all alive and doing fine. Measle outbreaks go hand in hand with vaccinations, vaccines keep lots of diseases alive that would have dissapeared anyway if not meddled with. You can look it up, wont bother to link you And if you are so vaccinated why should you be afraid? You are saved no? |

Do you like to watch infants die as a pastime? You obviously dont know the mortality rate yoursalf. I have seen loads of children and adults with the measles, nothing happened to them. They got sick and got over it. I know of people who have side effects from the vaccines more than i know of people having a hard time with measles. Have you had the measles? If not I hope you get them so you can learn something, no offense. |

When I was a teenager, I got the measles anyway. I also had the chicken pox. See, we humans have this really cool ability to fend off disease called the immune system. If your body isn't chock full of toxins, it works pretty well. |

Everybody I knew as a child had measles it was normal and it gave us immunity for life. When you read the statistics, read where they come from. |

Do you like to watch infants die as a pastime? Do you think it's ok to give under developed immune systems, amongst other things, mercury(heavy metal, poisonous). Pigs and cow embryonic tissues, formaldehyde, aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate, ammonium sulfate, formalin, and monosodium glutamate (MSG). As this is the base for a lot of vaccines. So with that lot in a vaccine you can go f*ck if you think I'm giving that to a child. You have the audacity to call someone scum about the value of human life, when any right minded person would refuse to to poison their kids with the above contents, Prick. Also look into the MMR scandal around Dr Andrew Wakefield, a lot of what he said has now been proven correct. [link to www.naturalnews.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1351320 United States 04/21/2011 02:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Vaccinasted children do get measles. Vaccination has never prevented any disease. The science of it is wrong. The science is based on building immunity as we do when a family member contracts the cold or flu. However vaccination does not enter as a cold or flu through contact, food air lungs and stomach. Vaccination is injected into the blood bypassing the bodies digestive and immune building system. |
