How many of you May 21st rapture christians have given all your goods to the poor?

I asked my Pre-Trib relatives to sign me on to their life insurance policies, since none of their other immediate relatives or kids (they claim) would be left to collect on their big, expensive policies.

Absolutely. The point of "doing" anything (especially when it comes to a religious act) is to LEARN from it. They don't know why they are asked to do it, nor do they know what they are supposed to learn from it. They don't ask why, they don't wonder why. They either do it (if it's easy) or ignore it completely. And, they keep telling themselves, "I believe!" and that's supposed to be their free ticket to "Heaven" someday.

None of it really matters. Because the Jesus story is just a myth anyway. What is odd though, is that modern-day "Christians" are not Christian at all, not in its original sense, not even close! 99.9999999 are living as hypocrites.

It doesn't mean anything to me. I just find is fascinating that they can have this kind of glaring disconnect with what they say they believe in and what Christianity really is (or was). Maybe someday they'll figure it out, but I doubt it.

None of us are going to get it 100% right and none of us will agree 100% with eachother.

Humans loving one another and forgiving one another can happen just fine without Jesus being a part of the equation. It happens all the time. Is THAT too much too ask?

I see, followers of Christ are to tempt poor people with material wealth, only so the latter can reject it. That makes sense. I mean, look how God rewarded the Serpent after he gave Adam and Eve 'the choice'?

Also, if there are no rich people around to tempt the poor, does that mean these poor people can never become followers of Christ?

Really..I'm having a hard time seeing your love and forgiveness towards "HYPOCRITICAL CHRISTIANS." Sounds a bit judgmental to me.

the May 21st rapture is not a Christian concept -- it was developed and promoted by Harold camping who is unorthodox. what he teaches is NOT Christianity. those who follow him are deceived and deluded. I don't know any Christians personally who put any stock whatsoever into his date setting

my pastor declared he is willing to bet anyone who is bought into this false teaching $100,000 the rapture will not happen May 21st. so far no takers
