i suspect you haven't actually read the executive order in question. that executive order did not seal his records, it changed the date for when presidential records would be available to the general public. presidential records do not include personal records like birth certificates. obama's executive order actually made more available to the public than bush II's executive order on the same matter.

secondly, his team of lawyers did not BLOCK the release of the birth certificate. the law in hawaii already blocks the release to anyone not directly related to the individual. there was also no continued fight to block the release of obama's other records, that just takes one request.
