(OP) User ID: 1366862 United States 05/02/2011 02:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thankfully I Have very little damage to my home, But I watched the Tornado pass with in a 1/2 mile of my home. I only lost the food that was in the firge since the power was out for 5 days. Thankfully food stamps can in yesterday and I replaced everything. I've spent the last two days working in town as a volunteer for FEMA and the Alabama State Defense Force. If you can give anything give to the Red Cross, it will get to us. Vince |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 935690Parts of Limestone and Madison counties did too. We're lucky most of the damage out at the nuclear plant was to the power line towers and not the plant itself. |

Hubby and I have been helping some folks salvage what they can of their homes out in East Limestone. It totaled an entire subdivision out there, but amazingly, no one was injured beyond a few scrapes and bruises! |

I really feel bad that I got by with so little while other where killed hurt and displaced. I have been train to deal with survivors guilt, But this storm is like nothing I have ever trained for. Quoting: ModelerXWe've been dealing with some of that too, especially Hubby since we didn't get any damage while his parents and little brother both lost their homes. But, it puts us in a place where we can help those who did suffer losses. |
