This was around 7pm tonight. Quoting: Nailer45The National Guard or Army is set up at the old Wal Mart parking lot with 2 Decontamination units ( red trailers marked decontamination ) and they flood lights set up ( daytime so not in use ) and 7 other tents set up and equipment.. There were also police vehicles from Loves Park and Illinois state police , and a red semi trailer marked Illinois terrorist unit.. area was cordoned off where no civilians could enter.. They have been there since last saturday and saturday the decontamination units were not there.. Not sure what's going on but here in the chicago suburbs the police and emergency crews are in high alert. Police activity is through the roof, county emergency management agency vehicles have been seen with sirens blaring, the state fire marshal was up here a few days ago too. At least one police roadblock/checkpoint with a naked body scanner trailer was also seen. Illinois people, stay frosty, something isn't right. |
