[link to lucaswhitefieldhixson.com] Quoting: thebluestlightTritium Pumped From Nuclear Plant Into Mississippi River - 05/03/2011 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is investigating after a radioactive element is found in the Mississippi river. Authorities say it started at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Plant in Port Gibson. They say they went to check for standing water in an abandoned unit, and found a build up of water. They decided to pump it out, and after taking a sample, they discovered the chemical "tritium" had been released into the river. Officials say the River has diluted the radioactive material, and is not causing harm to the people. Right now the incident is under investigation. There's no word on how much Tritum was pumped into the water. Great job op! |

Was it such an emergency that it had to be pumped? and then there is always that accumulating possibility that these accident are not accidental. Perhaps the human studpidity and ignorance factor is just that high? That's not reassuring either. la de da. the water dilutes it. it doesn't hurt anything. la-de-da. Right. The ignorance is a revisit of the 50's where the shoe stores had x ray machines you stuck your feet and new shoes into so the sales rep could show you where your toes were in the shoe. Honestly, it's the truth. Kids loved them. image showed up green. I've met adults that had deformed toes that they attribute to excessive fascination with playing at these machines. Now we're back to oh, it won't hurt you, the world is large it will absorb it. yeah, you bet it will. being on the other end of all the accumulation - I'm at the gulf- I am less than pleased. and really angry at the carelessness of the industry and government. Life is sacred, and the level of disregard for life overwhelms me. So much unnscessary suffering, |

"Well it IS a flood ya know (spit). It WILL be diluted and washed downstream. (spit). We can just say we were flooded and it was an accidental release. (spit) fukkn a ,,, I bet it went down just like that Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. It usually is water. Tritium is H-3. Combined with oxygen it makes H2O, tritiated water. Could be worse, the cure for internal contamination is BEER. |
