Because I'm definitely that person. The virus is rolling over the under 30 crowd with almost not fatalities much less hospitalizations. Those that aren't asymptomatic are sick for 2-3 days and done. They are actually our best defense. Let them all get it, then the likelihood it's spread is neglgible. The over 65 crowd with two or more co-morbidity issues are the ones it's hit the hardest. Avg age of death is 78 per CDC. NIH reported in 2018 that those put in assisted living were dying at 33% per annum. Covid has moved that up to 40%. Not a huge increase, but clearly those with issues are going to have more severe reactions. The underlying effect is we are a fat, unhealthy country. As for rioters, if you are destroying my business, or attempting to destroy my business that supports my family, my employees and their families, no you're not them. Yes, we agree on that. It tends to affect the elderly & infirmed more so than younger folks, but as do most infections. That doesn't warrant shutting down the whole country, however. It doesn't make sense why we are still on lock down. Idk the motivation behind it. My best guess is the government is trying to not overwhelm hospitals by letting small segments of population catch COVID at a time instead of everyone at once. Sweden & Belarus never shut down anything and COVID decimated their nursing homes. They had 5 times higher rate of elderly deaths from COVID than other countries near em. They need to study why Japan wasn't severely affected. Trump said w/o any lockdowns it would've been 1 to 2 million American deaths. When the government makes policy they estimate average life worth 6 to 7 million bucks. So an action costing more than 21 million wouldn't be passed if it saved just 2 ppl. Lots of wiggle room there of course like if the ppl are influential, but that's how the budget office views things. 1 million dead Americans would've been 800,000 more than we have from COVID now. 800,000 times $6 million is $4.8 trillion. That sorta evens out on what government has spent when this is done. Last Edited by TheDarknessComes on 09/08/2020 03:34 PM 70% success rate in magick |

In fact, it's sad to say this, they would have actually saved the country money because it would mean no longer paying social security or medicare for them. Hell my parents are 76 so they are right there in that line of fire. I don't say that lightly. But, it's not taking millions of working Americans out of the work force permanently. The NIH posted a study in 2018 that elderly individuals placed in care facilities died at a rate of 33% per year. COVID bumped that number up to 40% this year. Not an extreme jump but my point is simply, the elderly who make up the vast majority of these numbers were dying at a higher rate with or without COVID. Covid may have hastened the deaths of some (7%), but most of the folks placed in these facilities already had additional issues that were expediting their deaths. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)] That was actually one of the rumors as to why the virus may have been released in China due the aging population and the one child birth policies wasn't creating enough workers to replace the retiring Chinese and China was going to have a huge burden paying whatever is the equivalent to our social security. It's actually a sick thought, but I wouldn't put it passed the Chinese to do that. I agree with you that life is precious but the way this was handled was wrong. I'm simply saying 1) the economy shouldn't have been shut down as it's harmed more than the virus would have alone and 2) there are ways to protect the elderly without shutting down the economy. More drug overdoses, more suicides, more child molestations, more spousal/partner abuse all since the shutdown. More homelessness/foreclosures as well. The virus would otherwise burn itself out if we isolated those at risk without destroying the lives of everyone else in the process. Rituals on specific day in a specific hour to a specific sphere in order to help us with a specific thing that this said sphere or planet governs. So for example if I wanted a financial help I'd do a rite for Jupiter or rather the intelligence of it, "Sachiel" on a Thursday during the hour of Jupiter. The book Seven Spheres has some good rites in it and good reviews too. That "kind" of planetary magick. So what do you think? Thanks. |

Property can be replaced, but lives cannot. When my grandfather nearly died of COVID his nurse seriously refused to admit COVID was at all real. A nurse who has someone's life in their hands... wtf business does such a person have when they refuse to admit someone's illness is real. That should've been grounds to fire her ass. COVID is real. Yes, we agree on that. It tends to affect the elderly & infirmed more so than younger folks, but as do most infections. That doesn't warrant shutting down the whole country, however. May be we change certain hours to assist elderly, but we've destroyed our economy, piled on a massive amount of additional debt, forced people to lose their jobs, their homes, etc. for what amounts to a super flu? It doesn't make sense why we are still on lock down. I keep thinking that only one or two flight attendants have died and they are on the front lines so wonder how bad this virus really is. And we have lots of older FAs. I would think they would have gotten sick and the death toll would have been higher. I haven’t known anyone to get sick with this or die. But recently in my town a 51 year old man with no preexisting conditions came down with it and died. A couple from his church had gone away for their honeymoon and when they came back they all went to church and infected people there. Most churches around here are are now on zoom or meeting in parking s lots. But this one allowed the congregation to meet in the church. Anyway The couple didn’t know they were sick. All recovered except this man. Now the church is closed. I heard first hand from a woman whose brother from this church got sick with covid and recovered. Quite a few got sick and recovered. She owns a business and does not wear a mask. So she knows it’s real and it can kill but she isn’t that worried. Maybe people think it is a bad cold and most recover and don’t take precautions. |

Merely pointing out ppl minimizing so many Americans dying are same ppl ranting over looting, and to me that shows those ppl put lives over property. Property can be replaced, but lives cannot. Very interesting. I thought too all the social distancing was because they didn’t want people getting this virus all at one time but to spread it out. Winter will let us know how well this works. It’s going to be crazy then when people naturally get sick and think they have covid. |
