Specifically Feast of Tabernacles at some future time. As far as pets that is a concern, but even more so are all the people we know and love that don't know Christ and will have to go through the tribulation. That is the sadest point of all, all you that mock God and his Word will be feeling very strange on that day, whenever it comes - I'm NOT in the May 21st group of people. Just know as long as you have breath in your lungs you can come to Christ, he loves you and will accept you as you are if you make Him your Lord And Savior and follow him. Back to pets, anyone could die at anytime of a car accident, heart attack or whatever.... I'm trusting God to take car of my pet until he brings us together again someday. That is what Christians do, trust God for our salvation, for our families, and for our pets! I had four Saint Bernards (I know - crazy, right?) and I was CERTAIN that the world was going to end 12/31/99. I laid out a huge tub of dog food (enough to last a week for them) and a large trough of water. The sad thing is that I really believed we were all going and I even had the time down (5 am as I remember). I totally understand how people can believe with all their heart in a date. I also totally understand the DEVASTATION when it doesn't happen. It rocked my world for many years after that. I was obsessed with 'going Home' and when I didn't, I didn't know how I could go on. Now, twelve years later, I still want to go Home as much as I did back then but I won't ever put my 'heart' out like that again and get hurt as deeply as I did. I hope these people who are counting on the 21st will recover from it better than I did back then. I hope there isn't anyone as obsessed as I was because when you lose hope, there's nothing left. It took many years to get back to normal and get my priorities where they should be. I feel so sorry for these poor people. I hope, for their sake, (and for everyone) that they are right. If not, my prayers are with them. They will need them....  |
