Well, if you want the truth instead of a bunch of conspiracy bullshit then the reason it is cold is because the low temperatures from La Nina have about a 6 month delay before we really start feeling them.

With the PDO going into its cool phase you can expect to see a lot more of this cool weather, poorer crop yields, more cold deaths and, of course, all of it will be blamed on "global warming."
