Yep, still been cold here in Colorado with a lot of rain, rain/snow mix in Denver metro area. Another big storm coming in later today bringing more rain and cold with another foot of snow for the mountains.
"DENVER - A powerful spring storm spinning to the west sent a weak weather disturbance across northern Colorado Tuesday and the Colorado weather forecast shows more rain is on the way.
Scattered light showers were reported in Denver with severe storms northeast of the city out on the plains. Several tornadoes were reported in Washington County along with large hail and damaging winds in Morgan County and Yuma County. That line of storms is moving into Nebraska and Kansas overnight.
More rain is on the way Wednesday, especially in the late afternoon and during the evening as the slow moving storm digs into the desert southwest, according to 9NEWS Chief Meteorologist Kathy Sabine.
Kathy says the rain will continue into Thursday, though the rate of rainfall will be lighter than what we'll see Wednesday evening.
Showers and thundershowers are possible through part of the day Friday before the weather improves in time for the weekend."
