It's the middle of may isn't it? It was chilly. In fact it is not overly warm as of this afternoon. The day it is full of sun, but cool. Behind every myth lies a mystery, and every legend holds an echo of the truth …… Que Sera Sera "For not by numbers of men nor by measure of body but by valor of soul is war decided" Bilisarius " At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe. WOW. those dumbfucks should have scared that deer off. It was a baby bird and the mother was trying to protect it the best she could. Regardless of what deers eat commonly. Fuck give the baby bird a chance at life. Oh well such is life. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1388503it really is time you caught up with the rest of the world and went metric. Take it up with the weathermen and/or weather stations. We don't control which systems are used for reporting temperatures as well as for temperature forecasts. No US citizens on this thread are going to change their thought process for one or two complaining UK persons. No offense, but it really is just a method of measurement. It really shouldn't be causing you any butthurt. Celsius and Farenheit are so directy related that* Kelvin is actually the best form of measuring heat, which is the only SI unit, but you don't see me going around complaining the UK people need to get with the program and measure in Kelvin. fine, as long as you at lest state which system your talking about.. i told my family it was a roasting hot 52 degrees which they of course assumed Centigrade. it turns out the op was taling about farenheight. Well the OP is leading his audience on. He's talking about lows from day x to highs on day z. Basically, you know how it normally cools off at night? He took the weather forecasted nighttime temp and then compared it to a subsequent daytime forecast for a day or two later. People do know it cools off at night, right? I mean, if it never cooled off at night in tampa, I would've never left the house when I lived there. Seriously. The night time is the relief. Normally it's a 10-30 degree (Farenheit) temperature difference. And if anyone walks around International Plaza, there are posters about the 1920's snow storm. Night time cool off temps are nothing in comparison. I say to the tampa op to grow some balls/ovaries or don't go out after the sun sets. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1386530 United States 05/18/2011 07:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In Central Georgia, a month ago, it was hotter than hell...in the upper 80's and 90's consistently. At 8:00 AM the sun would already be burning your skin even though the temperature was only in the 70's. However, for the past couple of weeks, it's been really, really cool - and the sun has not been as 'hot'. This is not normal for this area, especially for this long a period of time. It is more than just "unseasonably cold"... anyone denying this strange weather is in denial or trying to hide something. |

I'm just a lil person. I have nothing to hide for whoever or whatever may be controlling the weather. I would worry less about temps and more about precipitation or lack thereof. Temperatures don't always gradually increase everywhere...there normally are hot and cold fronts. Depending on certain factors such as el nino, la nina, and things like the santa ana winds, weather can and may vary from year to year and even day to day. In fact, it really should, in order to maintain averages. There will be enough hotter than hell days for people in the summer to look back and say, wow, a couple 80 degree days in may in florida actually isn't all that cold. I am not saying there aren't days that the temp doesn't go down less, however I am saying that if anyone looked at the tampa weather link, the temps were looking pretty normal to me, and I lived down there for a few years. I honestly don't know what all the hubbub is about. the subject of this shouldn't have been "WTF!!! How is it going to be 52 degrees in FL tomorrow?" it should've been "Tampa night time temp tomorrow is 52 degrees in May, yippee. daytime temps are in the 80s. _o/" If you are cold when it's 80 degrees farenheit outside, you should see a doctor or at least take your temperature. Most people keep their homes at 69-76 degrees farenheit for comfort.
