I take over 20 vitamins a day now, I see where they are selling some now for your brain, at the end of the article . I wish they would come out with an organic bar that had every vitamin and mineral , the perfect food bar, then I wouldnt have to worry if I get all I need

I dont know, years ago a woman with kids or without didnt have a way out of a bad marriage , there was no work for her except being a teacher. My Mom use to tell me about my great grandmother, how her husband would come home drunk and fathered a child with another woman, she had to stay and put up with it, in order to have food for her kids, I bet she was depressed all her life.
A failed love, losing a job, losing someone to death, lots of reasons to be depressed in this day and age, it isnt all in the head and can be change in a wink of an eye. Depression can kill, when it gets really bad and affects you normal life, thank God for drugs.

I agree with this, letting go of things in your life that are making you unhappy can seem impossible and scary. I don't believe the new age saying that all things are possible to have in your life if you have the will to make it so, but i do believe that happiness is very much something that we can create for ourselves, by opening up that mental cage.

I think I don't take medical advice from someone who abuses the English language like that. Spelling, grammar & punctuation are important.

Unless the author is suggesting that big pharma has caused him to forget all he knew about spelling, grammar & punctuation.
