So many false prophets and preachers in the world. Here's the Word of God for those confused.
Jesus Christ is our Lord and God. He died for our sins and was raised to prove He is who He says He is. Repent of your wrongs and sins to Him and believe in Him. Be baptized if you haven't been. Here's His commandments:

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Through Jesus comes salvation. Not of your own works or deeds or beliefs (religion) but ONLY of His. Jesus Christ isn't a religion. He's a relationship with the living God and the only way to eternal life. When you accept Him in your heart with humility and humbleness, he washes away your past and you don't have to worry about it anymore. He gives you a new spirit that lives in you and works through you (Holy Spirit). It's tough to accept that since our egos drive us. We're programmed through competition and self reliance. We feel we have to save ourselves through works but that's false. He desires mercy, not sacrifice. HE WANTS YOU AS YOU ARE RIGHT NOW!!!

When born again, it's almost like growing pains all over again. You'll feel guilt you've never felt before. You'll feel you have to do this and that to make Him happy. What's happening is the Holy Spirit working through you but it's still your own ego thinking you have to live by a set of rules. You'll drive yourself insane. Again, He desires mercy, not sacrifice. He was already our sacrifice. He was against religion and man made rules. But once you realize we all sin and will continue to sin, you'll start asking Him to work through you in righteousness. Not of your own will but only of His. You'll still sin and fall short but don't beat yourself up over it. The spirit is willing but the body is weak. Pray for forgiveness and His will be done through you and it will be. Never stop communication with Him and asking questions. He will answer you and never leave you.

Here's a good little write-up of 'what does God expect of me?' from a one time atheist to a born again in Christ: [link to www.startingwithgod.com]

God bless and if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Jesus Christ is the God of righteousness and all living things. His burden is light. Most importantly, He wants a relationship with you. When you start looking at Him as a friend, your faith will grow more and more and good works will be done through you. hf

Long windedness is a sure sign of insecurity, I hope you believe first, and then those around you will follow.

Not insecure. Just wanted to cover as much as I could in one post. I'm preaching nothing more than Jesus Christ with a few examples of what a born again might expect to help them through it.

Thanks for the concern!
