the Law was given to Israel for one reason only, to show them they could never be "good enough" to earn salvation or God's favor. only the High Priest was allowed in the Holy of Holies and only AFTER there was a sacrifice for his sin. if he went into the Holy of Holies and had no blood sacrifice had been done for his sin, he dropped dead. read Lev, it tells about how a rope was tied around the priest, what had to be done to cover his sin, the bells on his robe. when the bells stopped ring, that meant he was dead and had to be dragged out.

also, the Law was NEVER given to the Gentiles, only to Israel. Christ was sent to save ISRAEL and when they rejected Him, the Gospel then went to the Gentiles and they were grafted in, remember? God also told them if they were guilty of breaking one Law, they were guilty of breaking all Laws. no man could live up to those Laws, it was impossible.

sacrifices were common place for Israel, their sin had to be covered and God told them without the shedding of blood, there was no forgiveness of sin. Christ was the final sacrifice and he was the fulfillment of the Law, Christ was the "new Law" plain and simple.

no, personally i do not believe in abortion for any reason. i feel God is in control and i feel that if i were to get pregnant by rape, it's for a reason. scientifically, very few pregnancies occur with rape and i trust that God is in charge and control. being a Christian does not mean we are immune to the things of this world, bad things happen to Christians just like everyone else. it is the cost of sin in the world.

you need to repost, your last one is screwed up, but i think i get the gist of it.

remember, everyone answers for their actions one day. i know how hard it is, i went through an attack by someone that later became a Christian and he asked my forgiveness, i refused it. he was killed a few years later, very quickly, no pain, never knew what hit him.

i was mad for a long time, i wanted him to suffer and that was my selfish part, though his suffering wouldn't have changed the hurt and pain he caused me.

i later realized that having such bad feelings toward him only hurt me and not him and stood in my way. i also realized in God's eyes i was no different than him before i came to Christ.

that doesn't mean what your wife has done is right or ok, don't mistake that. it just means don't let your anger toward her affect you, she's not worth it.

you actually need to pray for her and you probably can't and you probably know you need to pray for her lol. something my mother taught me was when there was someone i really needed to pray for but did really want to, that i should pray that God would give me the desire to pray for them.

that has always worked for me.
