I know the feeling some times

Many variables. Most feminists end up alone, because they become monstrous abominations that no sane man would go 10 feet near, least they be accused of rape, etc.

If you're not a feminist, perhaps you're around many men who just want to fornicate and don't want a wife and children to commit themselves solely too.

Easy to meet people at the grocery stores and at Church. Perhaps you should tell your pastor your concerns and he can help you.

Personally I think a man shouldn't chose base on looks, as when you look at the long-term investment it's guaranteed she will eventually get old and wrinkly, etc. Therefore go for character and personality and intelligence. Hopefully the woman is good at the art of conversation and just doesn't want to sit around watching television and eating bon bons.

NOw, I think it is so amazing and wonderful.

There is much spiritual value to be gained trough isolation... i must admit it is something dear to my heart

but living with others has advantages too,

no one to bring me a cup of tea when I feel sick... little things like that you really miss

good thing though, cause those are the things that people take for granted day after day after day when they have someone there to cater to them

so.... more benefit in the way of appreciation of small and beautiful favors that others may give

you miss the point entirely... you live alone, there are little things that you miss

you live with people, there are also little things you miss

living alone brings appreciation for the small gifts and favors that others can bestow upon you, and also makes you see the value of returning the favors, when they also require tending to their needs.

the people that take other's for granted are usually the one's that have never lived alone or had to fend for themselves, that's why living alone is such a great learning experience.

My husband died over three years ago and I still haven't been in a good relationship, or one that lasted more than a few dates. And its not them its me, I just stop answering the phone and don't return calls. I don't know whats wrong with me. Why was I stupid enough to answer the phone and call back the dick who was just screwing with me? Idiot! I am tired of being alone too.

I am 40 years old now and always have been alone, but do not desperate there is hope.

I think you need to get comfortable with being alone. You know you can't always count on someone being around and needing or craving to be in a relationship in order to feel fulfilled isn't a good thing in my opinion.

Once you're comfortable w/ & enjoy being alone then you're ready to be w/ someone. imho

It is always nice to find yourself alone with another :P

Then you are not alone, but lonely... rent a whore and quite cry'n LOL being alone is the most liberating thing that can happen to a man. Rejoice therefore :)

Married twice to two fine woman, enjoyed it thoroughly (till it ended of course) but have found that I prefer my own (as well as my pets) company more than any human relationship. I have been there and done that. I appreciate the singular chapter in my life at the moment. Try it for awhile, I promise, it grows on you to the point where you cringe at the thought of being "committed" to anything or anyone... BRRRrrrrrrrr.

No way, I think if you can be comfortable with being alone and stay comfortable with being alone you have lost something of your humanity. Having a partner is an essential part of being homo sapiens. The world is designed for people in pairs. And I have to agree with OP the worst thing in the world is when you're sick and no one is there to bring you that cup of tea or bowl of chicken soup.
