Quoting: ArunaLunaUntil they get the hospital bill. Of course that is after the 'healing'. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Yeah but that's the business side...repeat customers are vital to the medical industry...it's not in THEIR best interest to cure patients...only make them FEEL better while they are there. The whole medical industry is a scam to make money. Sure there are people who get into it because they want to save lives...but most of them end up playing the health care fraud game too... It's a big cycle see...and who's driving it? |

It's a big cycle see...and who's driving it? Agreed. The shareholders are driving the system. I worked in administration in healthcare in the early 90's. The conversations I was privy to were quite disturbing. I never dreamed 'they' would get away with all the things they were planning then. As a matter of fact, 'they' got away with much more. "They sky's the limit!" was a common phrase used when discussing future billing opportunities. It makes me sick. Still, PFFFFT! Added: I must admit, when hospitals and doctors offices started to become works of art, I was impressed. I had been in some pretty nasty hospital settings and doctors offices back in 'the day'. However, immediately following, health care costs started increasing exponentially. At the same time, the quality of care DID NOT became exponentially better. While affordability became a thing of the past. So much to say, which serves no purpose. It's too late to fix a system gone wild.
