I recall people suggesting that there's one way to settle this for good:

put out a call to anyone born in Hawaii that same year to get the authorities to release their birth certificates to see if they are identical.

Did anybody come up with any of those birth certificates? It's been, what, five years?

If none came forward, that in itself would be kind of suspicious...
