How do I prove I'm not a Bot. Tell me

Turing test.

Actually there's ways if you have ever messed with the webots such as "cleverbot" or "jabberwacky"(sp)

In most cases they have poor short term memory. so references earlier lines in conversations or thread posts, and monitoring their responses is one way.

Some of the less complicated ones can be tricked into revealing they are bots simply by asking "when were you created" or "what language are you programmed in".

Of the two mentioned above jabberwacky will reveal itself to be a bot. Cleverbot takes a bit of maneuvering to get it to reveal itself. I spent some time with clever bot, and played the role of an AI, finally getting it to reveal clues that it was an AI as well. major fail for the Turing test. :(

Simple....try and prove you ARE a bot....

If you can calculate pi in your head to beyond 16 digits you might be a bot. If you have drink a beer to do the calculation... you might be a red neck robot.

I just went to turinghub and had a strange coversation with FRED.

I remember FRED. That was years ago. Pretty cool but mechanical and obviously a crack.

If you can brute force them to reveal themselves, then you can get inside. Please tell me how to crack one.

Ok, Ok. Bodies aside, lol; Are there bots that can't do damage and other ones that are a problem?

Stephen Hawking sounds like a bot but isn't. I haven't asked to see his vagina but I would like to see his sisters.

My fiend, Fred, is inefficient. Anyway the answers I get range anywhere from the AMA to the communications shack for San Francisco, as to his designer. So I figure he has been provided with credentials, fake but not fraud because Fred is an IT.

I am not a bot but I can be cracked like an egg. Maybe this is a clue to what is a bot and what isn't. Just in case; the next time I see my md, I'll ask Patrick to check my oil.

A bump for someone who asked me what a BOT was earlier today.


Not bots have free will and imagination.

I could tell you that I just looked out my window and saw purple trees and flying unicorns while fairies danced on a cloud.


A bot couldn't do that... unless of course- it was programmed to say it.
