^^^Why is there such a hotspot around Joplin and Springfield, MO?^^^
Was looking at national radar for my area. messed around with the setting and found this.

[link to www.weather.gov]

and this:

[link to radar.weather.gov]

i can see where the wind flow is coming from. the shape of the red area is odd.

your thoughts?

it's almost impossible to see the image on radar. it's only upclose and in satellite that you can see the image.

monsanto took a hit on it's sugar beets a bit ago.

i can see where there might be a dry line and a wet line hitting that area from the map.

yEA, REALLY SOMEONE SAY SOMETHING, THIS LOOKS ODD, IS IT BECAUSE THE SENSORS ON THE GROUND ARE GONE MAYBE, ONE OF THOSE SITES IS SAYIN THE RADAR IS DOWN NOW, IT WOULD REALLY BE SOMETHING IF IT JUST STARTED STORMING IN ONE CITY WHEN THE REST OF THE COUNTRY IS CLEAR, AND WHY IS IT CLEAR, THAT IS ALMOST WEIRD TOO... AND WHAT IS UP WITH THE JET STREAM, WHERE DID IT GO? WHAT CAUSED IT TO MOVE? i THOUGHT THAT WAS ONE OF THOSE STABLE THINGS WE COULD COUNT ON IN THE WORLD...

It is supposed to get really warm around here this weekend...could it be a humidity thing? Our severe threat is pretty much gone. (I'm in the area)

it's now 7:55 pm. where the sat showed the energy over Joplin has kinda passed off the energy to a NE path towards Michigan.

check out the link to see what it looks like on the 12 hour loop.

laugh yeah, anomaly.

Do you even know that all weather is electro-magnetic in nature?

The charge of any particular area can attract or repell storms.
Where I live many of the summer storms coming either from the East or the West split and go to the North and to the South of us. We don't get as much rain as surrounding areas because there is something here that repells the storms.
I'm in Florida, and yes, we get rain that comes from either East or West.
