WTF How did GLP miss this. 100 anniversary of Titanic ship WHICH NEVER SANK!
YES you read it right.
On 31 may 1911 Titanic was launched but what you dont know that on her maiden voyage in april 1912 the ship was switched with RMS olympic.THis was done for a insurance fraud!

Robin Gardiner, author of ‘Titanic : The Ship That Never Sank’, took the inquiry’s findings as the basis for his theory as to why the RMS Titanic never actually sunk at all.

Gardiner believes that, without any chance of making a successful insurance claim, White Star Line were forced into drastic action.

Repairing the Olympic, which had damage to her central turbine’s mountings as well as keel damage, would have cost millions in today’s money.

Additionally, such repairs would have created huge delays in Titanic’s launch, thereby losing revenue too.

Gardiner therefore alleges that White Star Line took the decision to turn the Olympic into the Titanic and vice versa.

With very few identifiers on board either ship the transformation took less than 2 months.

The Titanic subsequently took to the seas and served for 25 incident free years.

He then goes on to suggest that the Olympic was then repaired, not to a true seaworthy standard, but to a barely safe level, in order that she could be deliberately sunk in the Atlantic in order to facilitate an insurance claim.

Obvious name markings on the Olympic were altered or replaced in order that she would then appear to be the brand new and fully functional ‘Titanic’.

Just before launch the real Titanic, sailing as the Olympic, returned to dry dock to have her propeller blade replaced.

Gardiner believes this period allowed the final changes to be made to ensure that passengers and casual observers would believe that the damaged Olympic was now the flagship Titanic.

whoa dude! This is absolutely shocking because it makes so much damn sense. Why not have the appropriate number of lifeboats on board? omg. sick fucks.

From one of the comments:

I believe that the undeniable piece of evidence is that the wreckage shows the hull bulkheads – there is no question about that. And the bulkheads were installed on the Olympic after the crash with HMS Hawke to reinforce the hull structure. Titanic, obviously, never had the bulkheads installed. That’s it right there.

Re: WTF How did GLP miss this. 100 anniversary of Titanic ship WHICH NEVER SANK!
So this theory is that the former Olympic, now called the Titanic, had been previously damaged by ship-to-ship collision, and TPTB knew it was going to sink this time. Given the lack of remote control at the time, it meant someone in the crew was in on the plan and was really going to sink their own boat.

How does this explain the lack of adequate lifeboats? The plan was to rescue everyone?

How does it explain the lack of rescue? The story that the prepositioned rescue boat ignored the flares is hard to believe.

How does it explain some problem about bulkheads? I'm not sure what that problem was, but the Titanic and Olympic were supposedly almost identical boats.

OP: this thread is absolute BULLSHIT. Every spring some idiot writes a new conspiracy theory concerning the sinking of the TITANIC that completely ignores established historical fact... and twits like yourself buy into it hook-line-and-sinker, and even worse, attempt to get others to believe the same lies you embrace so fully.

I'd hope you'd try getting your information from somewhere OTHER than a spurious internet source and you may just learn something in your lifetime.

I hope it... and, I doubt it.

BTW: a ship's launching is NOT considered an anniversary of anything. The vessal simply moves from drydock into water... so the final interior fittings can be installed. In TITANIC'S case, this took the entire year, right up to April, 1912. In fact, many little finishing touches were still being added as passengers embarked. Paint was literally still wet in staterooms. AGAIN: GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT befor you make an even bigger ass of yourself publicly online.

Incidentally: there were THREE ships that White Star constructed with all being very similar in appearance. Both of TITANIC'S sister-ships, the OLYMPIC and the BRITTANIC made many safe crossings. The BRITTANIC was turned into a hospital ship during WWI and sank in 1916 after hitting a mine off the coast Greece. The OLYMPIC
however, sailed until 1935. When White Star merged with Cunard in 1934, that merger sealed her fate and she was decommissioned with the new maritime corporation putting all their money into finishing up the new Grande Dame of the seas, the QUEEN MARY.

WoW! This is why they probably made the movie 'Titanic'to further obscure the truth by adding shingles to the public perception memory.

It was a plausible theory until it was discovered that the shipwreck at the bottom of the Atlantic does not bear the few unique features of the Olympic's bridge

Unless they switched the blueprints as well, which is also possible if you're going to switch the ships like that

I just don't know

Did you know?
J.P. Morgan owned White Star Line ships. J.P. Morgan was also the main conspirator behind the creation of the Federal reserve banking system. He was supposed to be on the ship but canceled at the last moment.

Is it just a coincidence that J.P. Morgan owned White Star Line, the company that produced the supposedly unsinkable Titanic, and that it went down with his enemy, John Jacob Astor, as well as Federal Reserve opposers Guggenheim and Strauss?

Don't forget the M and the P under the rivetted Titanic nameplate on the bow. I'm in the marine insurance business as an investigator, this sounds totally possible to me.

And hello, take a look at JP Morgan's track record, it speaks for itself. Lot's of anti Fed Reserve people aboard, go figure. Almost like a 9/11 hit, look who they got rid of with that one. Totally messed up, these are very evil bastards.
