I can't understand why people are not paying far more attention to this issue. It very well could be the most important news story in the entire history of man.

May be it is the sadness with the students going back to school or else fleeing the area. Could be the inability to contain a Nuclear Chain Reaction somewhere in the world. Could be looking so far ahead at Japan next year in their head, does not match the horror they see when they look at Fukushima today. It brings out a Nuclear fear that is ingrained in older Americans, Russians, British, Chinese, French, Germans and Japanese.

I. Am. Shocked. when I look, and I become sad, and that ain't a pretty sight.

Here we are safe. That is what we want to hear.
