How do you post a Youtube video on Godlike Productions?

go to the youtube page you want, and copy the URL from the location bar in your browser. paste the URL in the post box and click post.

that's crazy talk. if youtube doesn't want videos to be embedded, they can change their code so that embedding videos doesn't work any more. it's madness to supply anybody with the tools to embed videos, and then say, "IF YOU EMBED VIDEOS U R GOING TO JAIL!!!!"

Thats my point. Laws are becoming useless. Its like they want the people to revolt against them

1. For a straight link, just cut and past the URL. The URL is the thing that starts with [link to ] at the top of your browser. Paste that entire line. People will be able to click on that to go to youtube and get the video to come up.

2. To embed the video so that it appears within your post so people can play it within your post, look at the buttons on top of the post box where you type in text (like me typing this crap). One will be a "Youtube" button. Click the Youtube button. It will put a [yourtube] tag (except it will say youtube instead of yourtube. Then paste the URL of the video as in step #1 above. Then click the Youtube button again and it will put in a [/yourtube] tag. The result will look something like this:

[yourtube] [link to ...blahblahblah[]

The preview option said the above would work....bastards! Oh well, you get the idea.

Or maybe you don't. The URL starts with "http" then "://www.youtube...."
