Also do a search on Google "Graves Disease+Forums" where you'll probably find better sources of what everyday people are doing to alleviate symptoms.

I had Graves disease it can kill you they Nuked my thyroid and now I take Levoxyl. It's better then living with the problem or dying and it didn't hurt or anything. It's just a big Nuke pill you have to go into a shielded room and the worse part of that is it was down in the basement of the hospital in my case by the morgue (seriously) and the people are in those protective suits but then you just go home or a hotel or where ever because for 48 hours you are not supposed to be in close contact, i.e., in the same bed or shower with your family.

Please remove Everything that contains Aspartame from your diet. Also, learn to Speak. (Throat Chakra).

Remove all fluoride from diet....don't forget reconstituted juices, canned beverages and your fluoride toothpaste.

I killed ALL fluoride from my family's diet 1 year ago.The juices i will have to check into.

Please listen to me, stop consuming any aspartame (it is hidden in many products, avoid anything processed) and go LOW CARB.

Please, please try it. Give it a month of your life and see if it helps your illness.

The past 2 weeks i went to NOTHING processed.I am eating lots of fruit,lean protein,veggies.I lost 15 lbs.I will see if there is any aspartame in any of the stuff in the cupboard.

My old landlord didn't get his Grave's treated and his eyeball popped out.
I don't have Grave's but my mom does, she had the option of getting her thyroid surgically removed or destroyed with nuclear medicine. She opted for the latter and is now doing fine, taking synthetic thyroid hormone.
You need to go to a DR. Naturopathic, MD, DO, whatever, ASAP.

I am trying to get health insurance now.I have the kids insured but not me(love Obama care)Everything has been $$$$ at the specialists.They told me i needed to have my thyroid removed as soon as possible,i dont think it will happen any time soon.I don't have the 30,000

I've had it for years. I didnt want any of the treatments for it. Whatever the cutters and poisoners will do for it, your body will do naturally over time. I felt better about trying to control my symptoms, which were FUCKING HORRIBLE than more radioactive shit in my body, which is what i think caused it in the first place. Which poisoners told me that my Gamma knife brain surgery had absolutely nothing to do with my hair falling out where it was directed and nothing to do with getting graves disease a year later. maybe it didnt but i think there's at least a chance it did.It supposed to run in families but no one has had it mine.
I got the lovely eye pop out disease along with it which was very painful and socially embarrassing. i still have it, but it has subsided considerably. Although yesterday i was at the store and a kid said - that lady has big eyeballs! as she passed. sigh!
But one thing I found out thru my own research, i couldnt BELIEVE nobody told me this - is that "fixing" the thyroid doesn't fix the eyes! they go hand in hand but are separate goddamn diseases.
graves can be fatal untreated because it can cause Thyroid Storm. Dont want that! But they are extremely rare. I have never gotten one - I was doing lots of meth when I was diagnosed, and kept doing it for years, and if that didnt bring one one i dont know what will. But coulda been dumb luck. Very dumb!
Try taking anti thyroid med first. that cures some people. But no way around that its a miserable disease, but its rarely fatal - a nice feature I'd say, and find out about what to eat and not, most dangerous thing is out of control blood pressure - i took med. for that.
And once its burned out, either medically, or through time, prepare for Hypothyroidism! Woot!
