Wouldnt this make your god a little slow on the draw?

It would have made much more of a statement if at the exact time he said the world was going to end, he had the stroke.

Either he is an overstressed old man with an extra burden of having fucked people out of their life savings, or the god "punishing" him is extraordinarily slow, considering the omnipotent nature.
