"We have a number of questions regarding the arrival in the Black Sea of the US Navy cruiser Monterey equipped with the Aegis anti-missile system to participate in the Ukrainian-US Sea Breeze 2011 exercises," the Russian foreign ministry said. "The Russian side has repeatedly stressed that we will not let pass unnoticed the appearance of elements of US strategic infrastructure in the immediate proximity to our borders and will see such steps as a threat to our security," it said in a statement." Of course they are going to say that. The Soviet Union did not invade Afghanistan. They were invited to fight against the Mujahadeen. Whom we put in power. The US military was also training with Georgia before this fiasco. It makes us look guilty. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1180899 United States 06/13/2011 05:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | pieces of shit Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1413969Did we have a right to overthrown the Cuban gov't because of offensive missile positions? No. Did we have a right to assassinate a foreign head of state? No. Do you think JFK's problems in failing to follow the 10 commandments had something to do with his philosophy on determining another sovereign states leader right to live? Yes. We may not like Russian missiles next to our nation that does not give us the right to assassinate Cuba's leader, anymore than we would appreciate people sending other to assassinate our president because of offensive weapons position. Catholic doctrine is dangerous. A president must have sex with only his wife. Polluting your spirit destroys your ability to recognize reality and fairness. That fairness is this. We don't want our president to be assassinated because of where we place our weapons, other nations deserve the same respect. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Especially if you are a world leader. A president who engages in sex with other than his wife puts people's lives at risk, especially leaders of nations like the US and Russia. Because that sin and demonic influence determines his policy. Lives depend on that policy. What animal is symbolic of someone who has no respect for scriptural sexual conduct? A pig. Adultery does not give a president the right to determine another sovereign nations right to live. Fuck now repent now is dangerous doctrine. You get baptized, you sleep with only your wife, otherwise you are opening your mind and spirit open to unfair political philosophy that can eventually bite you in the ass when an assassination attempt on Cuba's leader fails and God implements divine karma on a level playing field. If I were a president I would never sign anyone's death warrant in Cuba if I were an adulterer. It's called humility. Adulterers according to the Bible are worthy of death. That means if you are an adulterer you respect Cuba's leaders right to live, not being a hypocrite, especially if he is someone who is living Christian law better than you are. If Cuba's leader is keeping Christian law, when you send an invading force to kill him you are saying that Christ deserves to die. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1355993 United States 06/13/2011 06:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | its a threat to their national security cause its a first step to a paneuropean missle defence pact/system... basiclly its the first step/ground work to negate russias nuculear deterrent... I-49 anyone? i say fuck it if they dont figure the easy way to defeat the missile shield then they dont deserve the MAD deturrent... its so simple... the us focuses on missile defence... and then all russias or chinas gotta do is laugh and drive a few truck across the mexician border with a few tactical nukes... no air flight just a cargo flight... maybe a stuxnet virius for the port athority to negate their bomb sniffing technology... IDK but i do know its simple... but they gotta have the balls to detonate one or two or 50... its a fucked up ball game aint it... Anonymous Coward User ID: 1180899 United States 06/13/2011 07:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the main problem with America. Because we took out Saddam. That was a good thing. Because we are fighting the Taliban and Bin Laden is dead. That was a good thing. Because we fought to keep South Vietnam free from a gov't against their will. That was a good thing. Because we freed France from Hitler and saved the Jews. That was good thing. That we continue to view Russia from a Cold War era perspective. And that Russia is our enemy. Medvedev is not our enemy. Stalin was an enemy to his own people. I don't think that Putin was our enemy, and I don't understand why he was helping Iran's holocaust denying leader develop his nuclear program, but then hey, we were training with Georgian troops shortly before an artillery assault against ethnic Russian civilians in Ossetia. So, can we say that we are any better at discerning reality than Putin? No, if we were better at discerning reality than we wouldn't have had troops in Georgia before they launched an artillery assault on Russian civilians in Ossetia. We make just as many mistakes, and our greatest weakness is viewing everyone else as evil. Putin and Medvedev are not evil. Saddam and Bin Laden were. But hey I bet even Bin Laden believed in what he was doing. And here we get back to discernable layers or reality. Russia is not the enemy. The beast is the enemy. And being unable to discern perceivable layers of reality to determine our own intent and the intent of nations like Russia who very well may not be our enemy is our greatest weakness. Stalin is gone. The Cold War is over. And I have no idea why we had troops in Georgia before they attacked Ossetia anymore than I understand why Putin was helping Ahmednijads nuclear ambitions. I will say this I have met an ethnic Russian who fought in Afghanistan who may very well have lost friends to Jimmy Carters miscalculations. And my gut impression of the man was that he was more honest and full of integrity than George Bush Jr., Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton, and he wasn't even a president. Just a simple farmer. A family man with no aims in life other than enjoying his family. No world conquest or world recognition and our country got some of his friends killed. Shameful. |
