Larry Flynt Offers Weiner A Job

Anthony Weiner resigned today, but he could have another "lucrative" career right around the corner. Hustler's Larry Flynt showed a very public display of sympathy for the ex-Congressman by sending him a job offer.

"I would like to make you an offer of employment at Flynt Management Group, LLC in our internet group," he stated in a letter. The porn tycoon promised the big bucks, by offering Weiner a raise. Flynt told him he is "willing to pay twenty percent more than your former Congressional salary, ensuring that your medical benefits would be equal to what you were previously receiving." Well, isn't that generous??

Though Larry Flynt ended the note, claiming it was sent in sincerity, one has to question his true motives. Anthony's weiner is the center of the media spotlight. Why wouldn't someone in the adult entertainment industry not want to try to take advantage of the situation to get some free publicity out of it? It certainly wasn't Weiner's people who shared the letter with the public. That was likely all Flynt's doing--but who can blame him?
