Anonymous Coward User ID: 1387341 United States 06/18/2011 12:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am looking for a water filter, but my kitchen faucet is weird, it does not have an end on it that you can screw off. Its the type of faucet that you can pull half of it off and use it as a sprayer in the sink. I hope this makes sense. Anywho what would you suggest that I could use. Thank you |

Thank you Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1387341I am working with a customer right now with that very same problem. She has a Kohler pull out facet. The manufacturer of the TRAP radiation filter developed an adjustable adapter that doesn't require threads on the faucet. We have sent him a pic of my customer's faucet and I am waiting for a reply. I will be carrying these adapters. Not sure when I will get my first order. I currently have two samples, but no instructions on how to assemble them. They are a bit tricky to put together, so am waiting on word. I can let you know what I find out here, or you can email me at [email protected]. Thanks for asking! live modestly and prepare for inclement weather. [link to www.highwaterfilters.com] |

(OP) User ID: 1400858 United States 06/18/2011 12:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Which of your water filters removes radiation? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1433451I think all of them remove some radiation but the TRAP filters were designed to remove radiation. We are still waiting for test results, but the initial results show 97% or better removal for strontium-90, iodine-131 and 137, cesium-127, and more. They are going to do the next test at a lower flow rate and hopefully get all the numbers over 99%. The distiller remove most radiation, but don't claim to remove it all. I don't think they've been tested for radiation removal, so I don't know exactly how much they remove. Thanks for your question! I am telling the truth. The filters are tested, actually. Most aren't tested for radiation but it's common knowledge that certain media attracts certain particulate. The only filter I have that is specifically tested for radiation is the TRAP. I don't market the others to remove radiation, although the manufacturers claim they do. I just repeat their claims. You can and should choose to buy a filter based on the truth. Thanks for confirming what I admit I am! Are you a troll? live modestly and prepare for inclement weather. The results from the lab have been submitted and like I said the results are 97% or better for all radioactive particles. So you are incorrect that I am selling an untested filter. live modestly and prepare for inclement weather. [link to www.highwaterfilters.com] |

I have "proof" of the testing. It was done on May 11, 2011. Just because I don't hold the results in my hands, does not mean they haven't been tested. The final data has not yet been released, so you are wrong. Here's the video: live modestly and prepare for inclement weather. [link to www.highwaterfilters.com] |

Good luck And as far as me making money off the disater, I really can't control that. Many people were made aware of their vulnerability since the disaster. I actually am not profiting off of the Japanese, as I offer free shipping to Japan, which essentially eats all of my profits. I do it as a charitable gesture, because in reality I'm not much of a capitalist and I loath exploitation. live modestly and prepare for inclement weather. [link to www.highwaterfilters.com] |
