I love waking up to a tornado warning....

Sorry that is a bad way to wake up, weather is a mess these days

At least the storms are moving through quick. This one zoomed by at 55 mph and threw down some trees in Louisville and power outages. We lucked up and avoided this one.

Tornadoes are formed when hot air collides with cool air. To have them form in the early hrs of the day when the sun has not had time to warm the atmosphere and the morning temps did not get that low is unusual. I read once where most storms happen between the hours of 2 and 5 o'clock pm. Not anymore.

Personally I think our upper atmosphere is BEING warmed.

LOL, I've lived in this same location in central Ky over 60 years now and I don't recall having tornado with my scrambled eggs.

We lucked up yet again and no damage here. Storm is racing toward the Lexington area now. Hope all stay safe. Heck, hope all are awake.

O how like my eggs early in the morn. They are glowing green getting scrambled by twisters with bombs bursting in air in syria

It's a "Notification of Unusual Event" for the Cooper plant. Many events are outside of normal these days.

We just had a very long thunder vibrate the house. Lightening from this storm is still hanging on and is very intense.

Sirens activated in Berea about 10 ago.
