~~~ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY REQUIRED TO GRADUATE FROM MARYLAND HIGH SCHOOLS~~~

Before the Indoctrination Camps took over as our school system that was taught and required to graduate.

The Maryland No Child Left Inside Coalition is now over 220 organizations strong, representing over 631,000 Marylanders. The Coalition represents education, environment, recreation, religion, youth, health and business interests across Maryland.

The No Child Left Inside Coalition (NCLI) represents over 1900 organizations (over 50 million individuals) in support of legislation and efforts to get kids back outside and reconnected to nature.

Environmental literacy is included in the federal budget for the first time in history and environmental education has been included in the U.S. Dpt. of Education’s “Blueprint for Reform.” The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) (aka: No Child Left Behind) is being rewritten and is expected to be reauthorized in 2011. The Coalition continues to advocate for the inclusion of language from the NCLI Act in the reauthorized version of ESEA.

I smell another federal agency in the works.

This is Agenda 21..Google it and read it. It is insidious and everyone must stand up against it.

Agreed.

I'm all for kids learning about the environment, but not under the umbrella (at the expense) of yet another federal mandate targeting our youth.

This can (and should) be taught in science.

Yeah. I live in MD... fortunately my kids are grown and on their own.

Get em young!

Require that they prove they've been properly indoctrinated before you let them subject themselves to the wage-slave trade!

More pseudoscience being shoved down children's throats, now we can spend some extra FRN's and force them to join the envirocult or ELSE!
