If you say that you will give him to a good home, nice person, lonely person, whatever, I am sure someone will come running. Say how good he is and that he needs a home. If you send him to the shelter, they often kill the cats to make room. It is too bad you can't keep him. You sound like you get along good with him. |

He was thrown from a moving car into my yard in January of 2010. I found him and fed him and gave him fresh water every day since then. He is neutered but has his claws and is an amazing mouser! I am moving out of Florida soon and cannot take Jack. I already have 5 cats,2 dogs,4 fish and a ferret. Jack is good inside as well as outside.He comes in when the weather is really bad but never jumps on furniture or cupboards...only the bed,where he is allowed.He prefers being outside. I am so afraid that I will not find him a home before I have to leave South Florida. He has been a good buddy and deserves a home. How can I live with myself if I leave him here alone when I move????? Why don't YOU want your cat? God or mother nature or fate sent him to you. He's your responsibility now. I don't say that lightly. I have had as many as 4 cats and 3 dogs in the past. Yes it's work and it's expensive, but you can't leave him. Sorry. |

Cat will be handed over to the (insert name of worst case scenario organisation that will have kitteh put down type of place here...in Oz it would be the pound) on Monday morning as temporary carer is moving house. When little old lady, young girl come to view the cat, tell em that you nursed the poor, poor little thing back to health and while the animal is very affectionate, you feel that it is sad ,like it has an overwhelming sense of doom. How about if you call the pet stores and ask if they have adoption days? Then you can show up with your free cat while everyone else is there charging money. Maybe try Craig's list or a sign by your house. I wouldn't give him to the pound. I don't trust them. I was at one today and heard all the miserable dogs barking in back while the people just sat there trying to look important and not embarassed. |

The animal has more compassion than you. What kind of a sick world is this. |
