Sometimes when I meditate......

I think they are responding to the 'Light'.......but I feel so sorry for them!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Open your window

I have storm windows that only opens on one side(the side with a screen).........it's the other side, that is stationary that they always try to fly into! :(

THAT's bizarre.

I know........it doesn't matter whether I'm in the bedroom, or the front-room of the house: They always seem to find the room I'm in, and bump into THAT window! :(

That is really cool OP. i guess for all the Birdies sake, you gotta start doing it outside.

How do you meditate? What do you like to do?

Do you get the blowing winds as well?

stop meditating and tap into True Wisdom > brother (!)
what you're doing is animal abuse.

You might want to get a Chime with mirrors on it that Flash in front of the window.. It doesnt have to be a chime. just something that Flashes.. It gives them a little warning before they crash. Saves our little Friends:) Hee Hee Nice thread:)

I suppose that's one option.......although this phenomenon doesn't happen all the time........but enough times, that I have been wondering "what's up"!


I usually just sit with my legs crossed, and eyes closed.......but quite often, the Light around me does seem to change!


That's really interesting that you would ask that question.......for it does seem that when I stay too long in meditation, the winds DO pick-up, and become rather violent!

Have you experienced this as well?

What's the "True Wisdom"?.......or dare I ask???

LOL.........maybe you are right? I am told, that the Apostles of old NEVER had the time to meditate!

But for me, I don't see how I could get along without it.........?

It's something everyone has, but you don't know you have it until you have tap into it.

If it has happened more than once, then you should definitely start being in the open. Find a nice field in your area with a tree. This way you do not start off with even a fraction of a second thought about a bird hitting your window "coincidentally again".

You must be very good at quieting your head/ May i suggest you close your eyes, pick out a pixel directly infront of where your eyes would see and meet if your eyes were open (should almost seem like a skinny tunnel of infinity), and then try to imagine a pyramid point going straight up from your head, and surround yourself with all 3 or 4 points.

i can't visualize well, so i just kind of feel and draw the basics. Doing this really gets things going.

Another one is trying to imagine as best as possible the beach by the condo i used to go to every year growing up in Florida and try and see the pier about a couple KM down the beach. Drawing and creating your reality seems to cause really strong reactions.

Yes i have. It very invigorating. Sometimes clouds open, or it begins to rain. Extreme moments of great sadness and anger also affects a lot.

Some say that "prayer" (or) "meditation" are basically the same thing..........so in THAT light, I can't see how the Apostles didn't pray......?

However, the only place, in the bible, where I can think of that any of them did pray, was in the Garden of Gesemane(sp?)........but that was only Jesus......for when He went to the others they were all asleep. :(

And then Jesus did mention something about those who pray in public to be seen by others.........so I don't think the Apostle would have then done much of that, in THAT way!.....?
