illegal search and seizure. They will get their money back and if they are smart, they can sue and win easily. You just can't take anything you want inside a house and that is why no one was "charged" with a crime. They can't even accuse them of gambling. Money coming their way!

That's because they can tax the money you make from stocks, as well as collect a portion of the sales from power ball and scratch offs. They can't do that with private poker games. This shit is getting ridiculous.

A grand isn't exactly penny poker...bookies use private homes too...

If they can raid your home & walk off with your monies, then why don't they raid the casinos. Much more cash there for them.

Oh..I forgot.....that's right....they might find some judges, lawyer, doctors, politicians gambling there & wouldn't want that to get into the news media. So they don't touch those places. Corrupt bunch.

That's a very small poker game. I've played in games where there was a 100k in the room that plus whatever the players had on them that wasn't in play. What are they doing? Busting .50-1.00 games.

Gov doesnt make any money. Same way with growing natural herbs.

When OP was 16 --38 years ago...at age 16 i was involved in all-night poker games with adults...my biggest win was over a hunge!!!! and that was in 1973!

I sat down at the table at 11pm...with 5 bucks...last hand i had a full house...and this old guy literally wrote a check for $20 threw it into the pot having trips. I will never forget it...my gawd, my knees were shaking...I WON...with a full house....

Do you remember when the poker machines were inside stores and even had stores just for poker machinces. They shut down the owner and producer of the poker machines and took away his business. Another guy in the area spent a few years in prison for having a few illegal ones in his personal stores. I believe the fine was 100000.00 per machine plus some prison time. They allowed him to keep a house but stole a great deal of other items.

This country has allowed the government to gather way too much control. I hope things change soon.

Cops are becoming like mob bosses. Shutting down private poker games unless they get their "cut". You can be sure that money will never see the light of day.
