Get the fuck over it. These people go to doctors when their shit gets all nasty. They get checkups for sports in school, etc. They have physicals for entering the military, etc.

I have not researched the issue, but, if the airlines could declare some of their flights as a private charter when taking reservations, and charge a small premium, wouldn't the passengers be exempt from TSA scrutiny?

I guess you have never heard of a clinic. Most times the doctor is a revolving physician and you're likely to not get the same one next time.

In addition, entering the military or even in sports, many times you don't get a chance to build a relationship with the physician. Not only that but people who have altercations with the law generally don't fraternize with the physicians either.

She should have pushed walking away from the inspection and refused the flight. It's (shakily) and (somewhat) established you can walk away from the screening but you can't board.

Fair enough, the airlines want this, eff-em. Not a cent of my money. Road trips are more fun anyway. Get to meet actual people, see different menus across the county, meet different people and accents. More life experience that way.

Of course driving does tend to complicate overseas travel (oceans and all) but I don't pretend to have all the answers.

The physician is trained to detect illness and anomalies within your body.

A TSA agent is trained to detect weapons and foreign objects that may, and I use the word loosely, may present a danger to passengers of the particular flight.
