Looking at that forcast map, it looks very bad as its going to impact a sizable amount of japan. Land weakens typhoons, but warm seas strenghten them. So this beast is keeping some water under him and will take a while to weaken depending on sea temperatures. I see it will end up in tokyo, that is not good at all. I hope they are prepared. This looks like one very strong typhoon.  |

Away from korea/china?...hmmmm lol Quoting: Ghost#7the last Typhoon basically did exactly the same thing but fizzled out to a tropical storm and didn't do much damage..(it went further W then this ones predicted to do and hit the Southern tip of Japan first before racing the length of the country and on to Alaska ) they're predicting Ma-On to be much worse from the looks of it..
