Re: Film recommendations?
No doomier movie than "Closer"

It's the way far too many people are these days, a real sign of the times.

Thought provoking? "Secretary"

GLP worthy? JFK - Directors Cut
 Quoting: Greg_B.

Closer is amazing. I actually hated it the first time I watched it, simply because I saw it for what it was - two hours of people treating each other horribly. It grew on me over time, though.

I thought Secretary was pretty damn sexy ;)

JFK ... I believe is in my queue, in the middle somewhere. Thanks Greg :)

AC, you rock :) Rome, 5th Element and Demolition Man are all great. I'll have to check out Solomon Kane. And yes, I'm a girl, but I'm a girl who loves action, sci-fi, and horror, so anything you recommend will be fine hf

Re: Film recommendations?
Omg you HAVE to watch SOURCE CODE. This movie went completely under the radar. I dont event remember watching trailers for it. Recently came out at the same time the movie Hanna came out.. another one i recommend as well.

But watch SOURCE CODE! It's GOOOOOD.
Also don't watch the trailer! Just rent/buy it when it comes out and watch it. It's awesome trippy conspiracy fun!
5/5 stars!

You're the first person I've heard say that :) Most people always prefer the graphic novels/comics to the movies. Like Watchmen - people flipped their shit over that movie. Having not read it, I thought the movie was pretty damn excellent :)

Oooh, that looks good. I liked the movie Sid & Nancy (mostly because Gary Oldman is pretty much a demigod), would be interesting to see another take on the story. Thanks! :)

If you like music flicks, Control (about Joy Division) and Pirate Radio (about ban of FM radio in UK) are a couple of really good ones.
