I think I'll wait to make an opinion on this until the investigation is complete... I've seen these post here and I've yet to hear the other side of the story..

If after the FBI investigation they find no wrong doing, FOX is going to yet again look dumber than they already are... FOX news always pushes their own agenda..

Amazing how everyone just backs up from this whole situation. They won't comment. They don't assist. Our lack of a reaction is the true horror here.

We have family who live in Yuma AZ. (the nearest place to do any real shopping to Quartzite ... about a 30 minute drive.) It's been known for years that Quartzite was as crooked as a dog's hind leg! The fleece the tourists, the rob the local merchants and they do it all hiding behind the name of "law and order". In Quartzite you can get about as much "justice" as you can afford to write a check for. The place has become a national joke now, but it's not funny. It could be a decent little town with a lot of winter visitor income (the flock there by the hundreds for some reason although I've never seen the appeal myself) but instead it's been run as a private little kingdom for the benefit of the cops and local law enforcement. They're not all crooked but the vast majority are and have been for a long long time.

It's time to do some serious house cleaning. And put a few of these bastards in jail where they belong.

I have to ask, is the Police chief job not a position of appointment ? Can you not just vote them out.. there is a process to remove these people from office... If the majority of the town wants these people gone then they would be gone... I'm positive there are people in the community that disagree with the chief of police, however I would be interested in hearing from the people who are Pro Quartsite..

unfortunately no, the police chief is appointed by the TOWN COUNCIL. the town council is the heart of this corruption and crooked as fuck.

Remember the kid in class that complained about everything ? I think is what happened is to many people got sucked into the rant of these people and ended up getting burned because it turned out that the person leading the cause was just the grownup of the kid in class that always complained..

I'm not saying there isn't a real issue here, I'm just saying that when you do not have both sides of the story, it's easy to get burned..

a township is divided into smaller districts / additions .. People from these additions elect by majority vote the people that sit at that township meeti g in order to represent... why not just vote the people ov the district heads out..

answer ? They can't... They can't carry a majority vote in the smaller districts ...

I've seen all the posts, and I still say they only show one side of the story.. My question is, how did all the OTHER people who sit in city all get elected ? Do you disrespect the people of those districts because of what the mayor feels ? I've seen this go both ways.. I've seen mayors who try to strong arm counsel members and I'm wondering if that is what is goimg on here...

Now with that said , if they are misapropreating funds, that should be investigated at possibly the state level..

I'm not taking sides, I'm just saying there is better ways to deal with them... Target the constituants of the smaller districts to vote for people who carry your same opinion..

Don't go cry to fox news, the lost all my respect when they killed the story on Monsanto .. That's when I opened my eyes to the media.. anything I see from Fox is nothing more than entertainment.. In fact Fox news needs to run the same disclaimer that GLP runs that is listed at the bottom of the website.. IMO
