OPERATION WETBACK

Once upon a time people said what they meant and meant what they said, and this America had a few leaders who stood up for what was right.

There were many of our Presidents who were good leaders and some were great leaders. But this post is to discuss three men who made the right decision for the right reason.

Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 1.3 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them. He did this with a little over 1,000 Border Patrol.

"The rise in illegal border-crossing by Mexican 'wetbacks' to a current rate of more than 1,000,000 cases a year has been accompanied by a curious relaxation in ethical standards extending all the way from the farmer-exploiters of this contraband labor to the highest levels of the Federal Government."

Which brings me to the final cost. How much money does it cost or save Americans to have our country invaded? There was a great article in a Denver paper.

"Mexican Visitor's Lament".

I interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week.

Hernandez said, "illegal aliens pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes What Happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?" Hmmm, I thought, what would happen?

So I did my due diligence, buried my nose as a reporter into the FACTS I found below.

It's a good question it deserves an honest answer. Over 80% of Americans demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America ? The answers I found may surprise you.

Here is how Mexico treat visitors.

“Having traveled into Mexico last year to various cities on the Baja Peninsula, a distance of more than 1,000 miles round-trip, we were stopped more than 20 times at various checkpoints. At most of those stops, we were told to exit the vehicle and we were subjected to rigorous inspections. Where does Mexican President Felipe Calderón get off with his hypocritical outrage at our Senate Bill 1070?”
