I can say that I have personally seen alot of changes in our area since we've been having a huge influx of people from other states. Most people here in Texas used to be super friendly, drive by a man he waves or tips his hat. Accidentally bump into someone used to be, one person would say"Oh I'm so sorry" and the other would say " oh that's okay I'm sorry too". Now, drive by a someone, and worry about making them mad just by looking and worry about being run off the road, and if you bump into someone you are lucky not to get yelled at or hit. Pretty sad really. I love it here in Texas and hate to see all this influx of unhappy people.

I see threads like this and I wonder what it's all about, because my experience is the complete opposite. In fact, I am baffled by how kind people are around me.

In the past half-year, I have had three strangers throw their arms around me and hug me. Yes! I've never seen them before and doubt that I will ever see them again.

Cashiers want to chat away the day with me, even with others waiting in line behind me.

In heavy traffic, people stop and let me get in line or make a left turn, over and over again.

I mean, I live in a city of three million people! I never see anybody anymore who is hot-headed or mean. Truly.

Have I somehow jumped into another world? This is an honest question.

Wait until the SHTF. You think people are rude now? When everything turns bad with violence and civil unrest in the streets, they will kill and eat your children.

You think I'm joking? Guard your loved ones well. Normal people will become desperate resorting to barbaric acts of murder, and later on when all food resources have become exhausted, cannibalism will be close at hand!

Re: Rude woman in Wal-Mart - impossible, right? ;)
Yesterday I made a quick run to Hell-Mart with my family to pick up some random Chinese-made crap. We made our way through the 20-items-or-less line, and in front of us was one of the rudest women I've ever seen.

She was trying to buy a book and pay the same price in-store as the price she saw on Wal-Mart's website. The cashier calmly explained to her that they only honor price reductions if you bring in an advertisement from a competing store, not from the website.

The customer grew more and more incensed as the people in line behind us started to shuffle uncomfortably and crane their necks to see what the hold-up was, and after the customer shouted, "Just SELL me the DAMN BOOK!" at the cashier, little whispers started breaking out all over the place. The cashier just held her hands up helplessly, and the woman finally threw the book down on the counter in disgust, paid for the rest of her items (practically ripping her receipt out of the cashier's hand) and stalked away with her young daughter in tow.

Once she was out of earshot, everyone started talking to the cashier, thanking her for being so patient with such a rude bitch of a customer.

I'm noticing things like this more often - not just in Wal-mart, but in other places - while driving, while dining out, shopping at other stores, etc. - people being rude, selfish, and demanding for absolutely no good reason other than putting their own interests first, no matter what.

It's almost like they're becoming more aggressive subconsciously - they don't seem to even realize how they're acting, almost like wild dogs or something. Am I the only one noticing things like this happening more frequently?

I don't blame her for wanting the price stated on the website. I would have walked out without the rest of the shopping and had the thick bitch put it away herself.

there's too many rats in the cage.

When people say Oh way Back when People were a lot nicer.

They always forget that way back when there were a Lot Less people on the planet.

There's some subconcious trigger that when there are too many of the same species the trigger says be Nasty to each other,

because there are so many it makes no difference now.

The problem is that we have given power to the bottom feeders through welfare and filthy personal injury lawyers.

30 years ago another customer or a manager would have come over and told her to put the book down and get out of the store. 50 years ago, someone waiting in line would have whipped her ass.

Now, everyone is afraid to say anything. They will be sued. They sure as hell are not going to put their hands on her.

The bottom feeding trash know this too and take advantage of it. She probably hoped an employee would have argued with her. She would have called one of the thousands of filthy fucking vermin lawyers that inhibit every American city now and would have "won" several thousands of dollars which will be paid for by the people standing in line.

The reality is setting in causing stress in more and more people.

Have you wonder why gas prices are staying artificially, paying over a buck more then we should be, food prices going sky high, governments raising taxes, less and less freedoms.

The list goes on, I hate to say it, but it's going to come to a head sooner than later. Then I do feel sorry for the older group.

That's another weird thing - I'm in Phoenix, and there's normally TONS of chemtrails out here. I didn't see hardly any for the whole month of July blink

I live in Lakeside/Pine Top Arizona. I have not driven down to phoenix for 8 years now. I do not like to deal with the people in the valley. They are rude & crude and mean. I like the Show Low area because there are less people up here in the White Mountains.

They should honor the online price in store.

Walmart needs to fire more people from the home office because their internal policy uniformity is all over the place.

Re: Rude woman in Wal-Mart - impossible, right? ;)
A couple months ago I was delivering newspapers. They have to be delivered by 7am.

The press went down multiple times that night so I didnt' get my papers to well past 3 am. Even though being late wouldn't be my fault, I busted my ass all night anyway to get them done on time.

At 7am I had literally 5 houses left to deliver too. One house I went to deliver the paper at 7:02(!!!!)am and the lady came to the door as I was putting the paper in her mailbox.

She had a stern look on her face and said, "You're Late!"

I thought she was joking so i just said something funny in response, but that stern look stayed on her face and got even sternner as she snatched the paper out of my hand and closed the door.

7:02!!!!!!

2 FREAKING MINUTES LATE!!!!!!

And not my fault in the least little bit.

Being out all night I have noticed that while we were in lockdown, we saw cops going to houses on a very regular basis where someone in the hose would be screaming. And now that the lockdowns ended, we don't see that anymore.

Being couped up in the house like that was and is driving people insane.
