ELENIN? Something else? WHY has Stereo A/B image quality (and frequency) gone to CRAP?

Both the Stereo A and B HI1 images have gone to crap since about August 6th? See [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] and check out the last hundred or so images (or whatever time period you want). Use the "slideshow" feature to get a loop. Also look at [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] to see where the satellites are located. Finally, check out [link to ssd.jpl.nasa.gov] to see where the infamous Elenin is located over the past several days. I found it curious that the Stereo images went to pot right around the time Elenin looks to have crossed pretty damn close to Stereo B. In addition, based on where Elenin is supposedly located, it seems like Stereo B should have shown (or be showing) something, but I certainly don't see anything (other than Mercury and an occasional lens flare) in the images. However, there are a number of completely messed up images on Stereo B, and after those very messed up images, the quality (and frequency) have been way down.

Does anyone who knows about this stuff (Astronut) have any ideas as to what is going on with things? I certainly don't care much for the various Elenin theories, but was curious if I could see it in Stereo B, then when I went to check I discovered the oddities mentioned.
