I find it amazing how many "Old People" still believe in the Boogeyman! LOL!

i just got into a heated debate with, you guess it my uncle. He used to be a libertarian and is now a conservative. he switched parties because of the "limp" military policy of people like Ron Paul.

I showed him the poll results and he nodded respectfully but said Ron Paul's Iran position was childish.... It was a polite conversation up until that point. I exclaimed, "Childish? Childish? I will tell you what is childish. Believing that if Iran really wanted to attack the US or Israel with nukes they wouldn't have already bought them. Believing every muslim nation wants to and CAN destroy us so we must preemptively strike them down. "

etc etc i am sure you know where this is going being a GLP reader. the point is, my parents generation believes in "The Boogeyman" and ignores the true danger to the citizens of our country. The ones who spend a trillion dollars a year lining the pockets of corporations. The ones who kill 20,000 children to avenge the death of 8. The ones who force the world to buy and sell commodities with our worthless inflated fiat dollars through sanctions and war.

In other words.... US. That is the most important part of growing up, learning more often than not you are your own worst enemy.
